TERRY Hinge
& Hardware (TERRY) opened its
doors in 1954. The founder named the company after his daughter and
began distributing hardware to the shutter market on the West Coast.
-
In 1957, TERRY
experienced tremendous growth and moved into a larger facility in
California. TERRY was now a full-time operation.
-
By 1968 the
company sales were increasing fast and suppliers were having difficulty
keeping up with TERRY’s growth. In order to keep up to their customer’s
needs, TERRY decided to manufacture their own hinges.
-
By 1995,
TERRY’s founder retired after 41 years of tremendous growth. In the mid
1990s TERRY began manufacturing Institutional Hinges. Today, this is
one their fastest growing lines.
-
Terry has been
also a major importer over 30 years and has its own Terry office in
Shanghai, China.
-
Today - TERRY
manufactures and imports an extensive line of hinges and hardware for
Furniture, Shutter and Caseworks industries. With over 16,000 products
now available, TERRY continues to grow.
- Since September 2007, Rockford
Process Control and Terry Hinge & Hardware became one. It is
an important step forward for delivering high quality products.
