& HARDWARE
Patrick
T. Derry, President and CEO of Rockford Process Control,
a
leader in the manufacturing of
casework hardware for the woodworking
and cabinet industry has
announced the purchase of the assets of Terry Hinge
and Hardware of Van Nuys,
CA effective September 1st, 2007.
The two
successful names in the
industry have joined forces to become a
powerful team. Rockford Process Control
has been supplying
the industry
quality casework hardware since 1983 and is known as the
original
producer
of the 5 Knuckle or “Rockford Hinge.” RPC
has a vast complement of metal
working
capabilities and has been a
metal component supplier to the wood-
working industry since its
inception.
Terry Hinge
and Hardware has over
50 years of manufacturing experience and
has continually
developed
an
extensive
line of products for the furniture, shutter,
and casework
industries. Along with its production
capabilities, THH
has become
a
substantial
hardware importer from Europe and Southeast
Asia.
This
strategic acquisition by
Rockford Process Control will strengthen the
company’s presence
throughout the
United States, Canada, and Mexico and will
mark an
important step
forward for
delivering high quality products and total
customer
satisfaction.
Rockford Process Control Casework
Hardware Division and Terry Hinge &
Hardware will
now be known as
the
RPC-Terry Hardware Division. Derry
declared “by
combining RPC & THH’s technologies, expertise and our
talented
associates we will bring new and innovative
solutions to the industry.”
